The Honeywell Home 5898 is a DUAL TEC® wireless motion detector that simultaneously combines two sensing technologies — passive infrared (PIR) and K-band microwave — for superior detection and a drastic reduction in false alarms. Both technologies must detect motion before an alarm signal is transmitted to the panel, making it an ideal choice for harsh environments.
