The Honeywell Home 5853 is a wireless glass break detector featuring FlexGuard® technology, which "listens" for both the high-frequency shattering sounds of breaking glass and the low-frequency thud of an object striking the glass. Combined with the FlexCore™ signal processor, it simultaneously analyzes the time, frequency, and amplitude of the sound to distinguish true glass breaks from false alarms — an industry benchmark for perimeter protection.
